| So I made a leak down tester and ran a leak down test on my car. It was both good and bad: Finding TDC for some of these cylinders was guesswork (well, all of them) so I'm asking you guys to double check results. No head gasket issues, no bubbles in the radiator from any cylinder. The driver side all tested at about 20% leak down. also coming from the same place, the intake valve cover with the oil cap. The passenger side had the two furthest from the cabin (closest to front of car) cylinders at about 30% leak down though, with the only leakage coming from the intake valve cover on that side. (I pulled the oil cap off, it got louder, a lot). The third one (closest to cabin was actually the only good one at 10%) A) I'm not sure what that result means
B) I'm stoked no head gasket issues
C) I read somewhere that it may mean that the piston rings may be worn, however I just had a compression test done and it checked out. Plus it seems unlikely that 5/6 cylinders would be that close in leakage -- all from the same place. Any ideas? Did I not hit TDC on all of those cylinders? I was thinking that maybe it was something to do with the intake valves not seating right, which seems reasonable with the recent ultra rich problem I had (sent the injectors off for testing, coming back next week)
